Music by The Devastators in the feature film "Sometimes in Life"



Monday, 07 June 2010 Viewers may be devastated when watching the new independent feature film "Sometimes in Life." A song by The Devastators was licensed for use in the film alongside a soundtrack featuring bands such as Ozomatli, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Modest Mouse. Sometimes in Life releases May 18th, distributed by Ariztical Entertainment.

The Devastators recognized at JPF Music Awards

The Devastators were honored at the 2009 JPF Music Awards with 3 nominations in two categories. The band's debut album "Frontline" was nominated in the Reggae Album category, and two songs ("Find A Way" from the Better Days album and "Frontline" from the Frontline album) also received nominations in the Reggae Song category.

When the results came in The Devastators were awarded 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the Reggae Album and Song categories at the awards ceremony held in Nashville. Considering over 42,000 albums and 560,000 songs were reviewed for the largest Independent Music Awards ever, the recognition is humbly appreciated.
