9/1/05--Local San Diego Roots Reggae band "Raiz Muzik," formerly known as Shocks of Mighty, have chosen Peaks and Valleys Studio to record their debut album.  In a single session the band layed down the framework for eleven new original songs.  All songs were tracked live without use of a click track in traditional reggae fashion.  The band is sounding tight and well rehearsed, and are eager to complete the new album.  The lineup of the band is essentially the same as with Shocks of Mighty, so fans can expect a similar sound and vibe to the music.  Expect a new website for Raiz Muzik to be launched in the near future.  In the meantime, information can still be found at shocksofmighty.com
