Upcoming Release: Raiz Muzik Debut Album

 After over a year in the studio, San Diego reggae outfit Raiz Muzik look forward to the release of their debut album "ReElection." Although the group has released albums previously under the name Shocks of Mighty, the new album will be the first for Raiz Muzik. The album boasts many of the same players that made up Shocks, but also features a number of appearances by local talent. The Borderline Horn Section(Big Mountain/Quinazo) was commissioned to bring that horn heavy sound featuring top SD session players like Bob Campbell(Sax), Roy Brown(Trombone), and Bill Caballerro(Trumpet). Other guest musicians include Arturo Salidas(B-Side Players, Maiz, Revelations) and Alex Somerville(Devastators, Quinazo, Revelations) Check back for samples and a release date to be posted in the next few days. Fallbrook will be host to the CD release party, which will feature the Borderline Horns and John Brown's Body frontman Kevin Kinsella on bass! More details and info to come... |
